Sensitivity analysis of temperature in heated soft tissues with respect to time delays

Abstract Axisymmetric tissue region heated by an external heat flux is considered. The mathematical model based on the dual-phase lag equation supplemented appropriate boundary and initial conditions. This equation, in relation to Pennes’ has two additional parameters, namely relaxation time thermalization time. aim of this research estimate temperature changes due these parameters. To achieve this, sensitivity analysis methods are used. basic problem ones related functions solved using implicit scheme finite difference method. performed computations show that caused times larger for higher values shorter its action.
